[Indescribable] Linky Love, The Impaler
In light of the riots in France, the latest suicide bombings in Iraq, GunnNutt's recent comment to this post on Support Your Local Gunfighter, and my general twistedness, I've been thinking about impaling a lot lately.
In the real world, when I'm asked my thoughts on solving a problem, my answer usually involves impaling someone, or something. For instance, my former sergeant would ask, "What do you wanna do about that criminal hiding in the woods?" To which I would reply, "Set the woods on fire, and when he comes running out, we catch him, beat him, and impale him on a spike." It was such a standard response for me that my former sergeant used to call me Vlad. We just don't impale enough people these days.
I'd like to celebrate the lost art of impaling, while passing out more linky love. If you'd like to participate, just write a post on your blog about impaling that has a link to this blog in it. Wednesday, after the therapy session, I'll post a round-up dishing out the linky love.
UPDATE: Okay, so, I'm a dumbass. I forgot to include the line, "...and leave a trackback to that post." Or some such thing.
UPDATE 2: I've put this back on top in case anyone still wants to do an impaling post.
